Product Overview
A hose clamp is a surgical device that closes an opened channel. It is used for gripping, holding, joining, supporting, or compressing an organ, vessel, or tissue. In surgery, clamps are generally used for hemostasis (a process which causes bleeding to stop) and clamping tissue. It is made up of glass filled nylon, the material provides increased structural and impact strength and rigidity. It has tensile strength, stiffness, compressive strength, and a lower thermal expansion coefficient over conventional unfilled grades due to its glass fiber property. It offers better strength than the general nylon. These are being used in ARC Aespire 7900, ARC Aestiva 7100, ARC Aestiva 3000, ARC Aestiva MRI, ARC Aisys, ARC Monitor CardioCap 5, Aestiva Compact, Aestiva 7900 and Aestiva GoldSeal
