Product Overview
The Shear Pin is one of the service parts of the breathing system. A shear pin is normally cut from the shear stock. Usually the shape of shear stock is a rod form. It is the solid pin which has the round head that avoid the pin movement into the opposite end of the drilled downhole. The opposite end has a drilled hole of 2mm diameter, which is used to insert cotter hairpin. The shear pin is a safety tool designed to brake and stop the machine in case of overload, which is machined at a critical point. It is used to prevent damage from other parts and also as a conditional operator that will not allow the device to operate until the correct force is applied. It provides a distinct threshold force for the required operation. This shear pin is used in ARC Aestiva 7100, ARC Aestiva MRI, and in Aestiva Compact systems.
