Product Overview
The U-Cup Beveled Lip is a seal provided in exhalation valve in breathing gas circuit of anesthesia machine. The exhalation valve contains an exhalation valve cover, diaphragm assembly, pop-off valve and U-cup seal. The exhaled gases are driven to scavenging system through exhalation valve. The exhaled gas flows from the patient through a unidirectional valve and into the bellows. Residual drive gas along with exhaled gas flows out of the bellows to the scavenging system through the exhalation valve assembly. The pop-off valve limits the pressure inside the bellows. The U-cup seals around the tube of pop-off valve and provides a leak proof scavenging in breathing gas circuit. U-cup helps in sealing the tube through which pressurized residual gases flow and is robust and resistant to constant compression changes.
