Product Overview
The Seal is provided in the main manifold of the Breathing Circuit Gas (BCG). The Adjustable Pressure-Limiting (APL) is provided in main manifold assembly. The APL releases anesthetic gases into the Anesthetic Gas Scavenging System (AGSS) and sets a pressure limit for manual ventilation in the breathing circuit by means of a diaphragm. The AGSS removes vented anesthetic gases from anesthesia machine in areas like operating rooms to eliminate the possible long term health hazards for the exposed medical staff. The APL is seated on the seal which is flexible and tensile. It provides a firm locking to APL. Since the gases flow from the patient to the scavenging system through the APL valve where pressure is regularly fluctuated, the seal restricts the gas flow, if any, to the external environment. It is easily removable and can be cleaned. The smooth tangencies and moderate hardness of the seal provide good support to APL manifold.
