A Washer Split Stainless Steel 8 OD x 5.20 ID x 0.32 Thickness is a washer which is a thin plate with a hole that is normally used to distribute the load of a threaded fastener, such as a bolt or nut. In split washers, the ring is split at one point and bent into a helical shape. This allows the washer to exert a spring force between the fasteners head and the substrate. As a screw is tighten, these washers flatten to add tension to the joint and prevent from small amount of vibration. It creates more friction and resistance to rotation. This part is specially used in anesthesia machine for fastening the parts together. This split washer is made up of stainless steel with a passivated finish. A passivated finish adds another level of corrosion resistance to stainless steel which is an added advantage. It is used in XR Optima XR220amx, Aespire 7100, ARC Aespire View, ARC Aespire 7900, ARC Aisys, ARC Aestiva MR and in many other systems.
Return And Exchange
GE HealthCare will accept, for return from customer, items that are in new condition, unworn, unaltered and free of damage. Items cannot be returned or exchanged beyond 30 days from customer’s receipt of the original order and all returned items will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. To obtain a full refund or exchange of the item within the 30 day return period (subject to the 15% restocking fee) customer must request a return materials authorization (RMA) from GE HealthCare and return the item to GE HealthCare utilizing this RMA number. Items must be returned in the original packaging, unused and free of damage.
Please note, cuffs, BP items, sterile and hazmat items cannot be returned. If a replacement order is requested, the restocking fee may be waived at GE HealthCare’s sole discretion.
