Product Overview
The Filter Element - Coalescing MPOS includes an O-ring, end caps, media, filter threads and a cleaning instruction manual. The main purpose of the filter is to stop dust from entering into the system. The O-ring is made up of a Viton material. It is one of the most widely used O-ring elastomer compounds. It is known for excellent resistance to petroleum oils, mineral oils, vegetable oils, abrasion, many acids and water. The end caps and media are made up of nylon and glass, polyester material respectively. They offer a combination of properties such as high strength, hardness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance. Polycarbonate is an excellent plastic for display filters, it provides high impact resistance combined with an excellent flammability rating. In terms of clarity, glass or polyester is used as material for display. This material provides a high level of chemical resistance while eliminating the risk of scratching through general handling of the product. This component is used in CARESCAPE™ R380, Engstrom and Engstrom Pro machines, among others. This component is present in inlet manifold of these devices.
