Product Overview
The PDM Battery Door and Tray is used in the Patient Data Module (PDM) of Patient Monitoring systems. The PDM is designed to operate on battery power when used with a transport monitor or whenever AC power is interrupted. A complete battery management system allows the user to obtain maximum battery performance. The battery door is used to seal the battery compartment and does not let fluids contact the electronics through the air holes in the battery compartment floor. The screw that holds the battery door to the patient data module housing is made up of versatile and heat-treatable aluminum alloys. This material has high strength, good toughness and excellent corrosion resistance. The battery tray is used to hold the battery and the tray strap is used to remove the battery. The battery tray is made of Bayer Bayblend plastic, which has good light stability and is a flame retardant. The tray strap is made of nylon, which is a smooth, soft, and lightweight fabric of high resilience.
