Product Overview
This 73 mm long Pressure Regulator is also known as a Safety Valve. It is a type of valve that automatically starts when pressure on the inlet side of the valve increases to a predetermined pressure (5.0 Bar) which displaces the spring loaded valve disc and discharges the steam or gas pressure. The valve closes when pressure decreases to the prescribed value. This valve has an open type construction and discharges pressure into the atmosphere. The valve comes with a 1/4 inch BSPT thread and hexagonal drive for easy installation. The housing of the valve is made up of brass which enhances its resistance against corrosion. This assembly is designed per DN 8 standards and can operate up to 180 Degrees C. The Pressure Regulator 902511 is compatible with assemblies of GE's PET Cylotron systems.
