Product Overview

The Compressor Shield Cooler Sumitomo is used in SHIP COLL. FOR CX FIXED W/SUMITOMO MAGNETS-WITH COMPRESSOR which comes under the modality of MRI. The function of the Compressor Unit is to supply high pressure He gas to the Cold Head and re-compress the returned He gas from the Cold Head. The Compressor Unit consists of the following major components: a Compressor Capsule, a Cooling system, Oil separation and injection system, and Adsorber. The compressor should never be titled more than 30°. It is packed with helium gas, if the pressure gauge level is minimum then refill. The compressor unit and cold head is packed securely. It converts an electrical energy into heat, which is a low power energy consumption. The cold head is operated by compressor unit as it provides power and high pressure helium gas. It can be operated on different input power voltage. Through the helium gas supply connector, the helium gas is supplied to the cold head. To cool down the gas to ambient temperature, heat exchanger is added to helium gas compressor. As the compressor is filled with high-pressure helium gas, avoid touching or hitting it with sharp objects which may lead to explosion. Do not bend the cold cylinder head. To control the gas inlet/outlet timing of the refrigeration cycle, the cold head is operated with the rotary valve. In the rear cover cold head drive motor, the cold head cable connector is set to the ground terminal. The protection circuit is provided for input power. Cooling water should be used with appropriate temperature, flow rate and water quality. The cryocooler requires a total of 30,000 operating hour. The GE product is an innovation and fit well into versatile customer needs. The part is diligently designed for superior performance and reliability. It is securely packed inside a high quality packing box to avoid physical damage during transit and labeled with details about the product, Quality Assurance (QA) seal and shipment details.
