Product Overview

Generally, Retaining Ring is a type of fastener that holds components or assemblies onto a shaft or in a housing or bore when they are installed. These retaining rings are installed into machined grooves with internal housings/bores or on external shafts. The rings are manufactured with lug holes to fit in the bottom of the groove. The lug holes on the external retaining rings are used to install or remove them, using pliers designed for this purpose. This 0.437 inch external retaining ring is used to hold components or assembly on to a shaft and is made up of Spring Steel material used for this ring is resilient and pliable with a high yield strength. This external retaining ring can be used in the assemblies of GE's OEC Mobile C-Arms systems and will be shipped in suitable packaging to provide adequate protection during transit.
