The High Brightness Wallstand Gas Spring comes as a part of X-ray Definium 8000 detector system in the wall stand receptor manifold. It is used to tilt or lock the wall stand detector Bucky in its position. It is a type of mechanical spring that consists of a piston inserted into an enclosed cylinder which is filled with compressed gas. When the piston rod is forced into the cylinder, the gas inside is pressurized, thus energy is stored in the cylinder. The vertical detector load is balanced by a gas spring counterpoise system within the carriage. It is equipped with a safety-locking feature to prevent the unit from falling in the event of spring or main cable failure. It comes as a part of a wide range of medical apparatus such as XR Revolution XR/d, XR Discovery XR656, XR (SURGERY) OEC FLUOROSTAR 7900, XR Proteus XR/a, XF Precision 500D, XV Innova 3100 and XR Discovery XR650 along with XR Definium 8000.

Return And Exchange
GE HealthCare will accept, for return from customer, items that are in new condition, unworn, unaltered and free of damage. Items cannot be returned or exchanged beyond 30 days from customer’s receipt of the original order and all returned items will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. To obtain a full refund or exchange of the item within the 30 day return period (subject to the 15% restocking fee) customer must request a return materials authorization (RMA) from GE HealthCare and return the item to GE HealthCare utilizing this RMA number. Items must be returned in the original packaging, unused and free of damage.
Please note, cuffs, BP items, sterile and hazmat items cannot be returned. If a replacement order is requested, the restocking fee may be waived at GE HealthCare’s sole discretion.
