Product Overview
The Gas Shock Absorber Cylinder is a dampers or shocks, which are devices that can restrict motion through viscous friction. They absorb energy and dissipate it in the form of heat. This special purpose dampers are designed to use in medical industry, which use a special internal fluids for use in sensitive and sterile areas. This can also operate in imaging and diagnostic equipment. It can also be deployed for slam prevention and speed control in the lowering of a hospital bed side rail system or to slow the opening of a maintenance cover etc., Hydraulic dampers are usually specified by their stroke and constant of proportionality. This particular damper has stroke capacity up to 52 mm and maximum force resistance is 20 lbs. This cylinder is comprised of a special piston and an internal spring. These are being used in Evaluated/Not Applicable XI (Invasive), MAC 5500 HD, MS CARESCAPE™ Monitor B650, CT Revolution CT 256-Slice, CT SYTEC 8000 1-Slice, MAC 5500 HD, MAC 3500, CASE, Stress Other and MAC 5500 HD.

Return And Exchange
GE HealthCare will accept, for return from customer, items that are in new condition, unworn, unaltered and free of damage. Items cannot be returned or exchanged beyond 30 days from customer’s receipt of the original order and all returned items will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. To obtain a full refund or exchange of the item within the 30 day return period (subject to the 15% restocking fee) customer must request a return materials authorization (RMA) from GE HealthCare and return the item to GE HealthCare utilizing this RMA number. Items must be returned in the original packaging, unused and free of damage.
Please note, cuffs, BP items, sterile and hazmat items cannot be returned. If a replacement order is requested, the restocking fee may be waived at GE HealthCare’s sole discretion.
