Bumps may cause vibrations in the assembly, vibrations are undesirable in many domains, primarily engineered systems and habitable spaces, and methods have been developed to prevent the transfer of vibration to such systems. Vibrations propagate via mechanical waves and certain mechanical linkages conduct vibrations more efficiently than others. Passive vibration isolation makes use of materials and mechanical linkages that absorb and damp these mechanical waves. This Natural Rubber Bumper acts as a passive vibration isolator in sytem assemblies like MONITROL II, 4,2 Way RFX, RFX II which are used in the table assemblies of GE's Definium 6000, 8000, Discovery XR650, Precision 500D, Revolution XRd systems. This bumper is round in shape and made up of medium hardness Natural Rubber and comes with a threaded single stud for easy installation & removal. The bumper absorbs minor vibrations & protects the mechanism from unwanted bumps caused in the assemblie during functioning. The bumper comes in black color and it is designed to bear the compression loads of upto 6 pounds.
