The AMX 4 Disc Assembly is used in X-ray systems and other demanding applications. The friction elements are squeezed inwards to a clamp, a rotating disc or wheel. The disc assembly is comprised of a caliper, disc, mechanical material comp, backing disc, washer, backing pad, and related hardware (bolts, clips, and springs). The caliper is a supporting part mounted on the spindle and fitted with one or more pistons that are hydraulically actuated by the fluid pressure. The disc is bored to be concentric with bore in calipers after assembly. After assembly, the disc will not slip at less than 600 in-lbs of torque. The disc will slip at an excess of 1270 in-lbs of torque. To prevent the pressure leakage between the piston and cylinder, the piston seal is used. It is made from a steel sheet which possesses reflectivity, impermeable, corrosion resistant and recyclability.

Return And Exchange
GE HealthCare will accept, for return from customer, items that are in new condition, unworn, unaltered and free of damage. Items cannot be returned or exchanged beyond 30 days from customer’s receipt of the original order and all returned items will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. To obtain a full refund or exchange of the item within the 30 day return period (subject to the 15% restocking fee) customer must request a return materials authorization (RMA) from GE HealthCare and return the item to GE HealthCare utilizing this RMA number. Items must be returned in the original packaging, unused and free of damage.
Please note, cuffs, BP items, sterile and hazmat items cannot be returned. If a replacement order is requested, the restocking fee may be waived at GE HealthCare’s sole discretion.
