Product Overview
The 41cm Thunder Service Detector is a digital X-Ray detector used in imaging for X-Rays detection. This detector is introduced to improve customer productivity and to enhance image quality. Customer productivity is improved by providing the capability of fast (~ 5 sec) imaging with no cassette handling, lower number of films, and digital archive/storage of images. The digital detector enables the full exploitation of a digital image network. The objective is to increase department throughput without increased expenditure. Image quality is enhanced by the detector's higher detective quantum efficiency, its capability for higher image contrast and larger exposure latitude. The increased dynamic range of the detector over film allows for fewer retakes. In addition, the operational and image quality issues associated with film processing may be eliminated at the system level by using direct display and print of the digital data. The functional interfaces of this detector consists of electrical, Ethernet communication link, mechanical support and cooling interfaces, and X-ray entrance window. This detector can be used with Definium 8000 and Discovery XR650 systems.
