Product Overview
The Keypad Buttons are grouped in 4 blocks situated on the mammographic arm. The keypad is connected to the gantry through the means of a flexible cable. The keypad assembly consists of a silicone keypad and electrical parts including contacts, PCB, connector for the cable and a magnetic layer. The silicone keypad has an excellent resistance to heat and chemicals and has improved electrical insulation properties. The buttons will go through plastic cover holes. The keypads shall remain attached to the mammographic arm, when the covers are removed. A magnetic layer (thickness 2mm) is glued to the PCB. The keypad controls the lift movement (up/down) and rotation movement (pre-set left/right, non-pre-set left/right). Emergency stops are not included in the keypads and do not have to be considered. The keypad will be fixed on a metal plate. The screws and the metal plate are not considered part of the keypad. The thickness of the keypads is a maximum of 33mm; this is the maximum space available between the top of the highest button (not including dash/dot marks) and the metal support plate. The mounting system (magnetic layer) is considered as part of the 33 mm. The useful lifetime (button electrical contact works for minimum required force) 120750,000 cycles. All buttons can sustain a maximum force of 50 N for 50000 cycles without any failure (including electrical contact and silicon mechanical characteristics). This is being used in systems such as XV Innova 2000, XM Seno Advantage, CT Optima CT520 16-Slice, HCS-IT IDI Workstation and MR Signa Explorer F 1.5T.
