Product Overview
The PAC-5 (Physiological Acquisition Controller-5) Assembly for DVW System comes as a part of the patient handling sub-system used for DVW systems, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) systems and other demanding applications. This PAC-5 module receives the various physiological signals, Viz ECG II, ECG III, respiration and peripheral pulse from the patient, digitizes them and sends it across to the signal processing unit on the STIF board of the MGD chassis through plethysmograph probes. The physiological signals are used for gating purposes for certain MR scans. It supports conventional PG through an electrical interface and Photoplethysmography (PPG) gating. The DS28E04-100 EEPROM is used for unique identification of the device in the one-wire interface diagnostic chain. The PAC-5 gives information on the status of the board through the one-wire interface for diagnostic purposes. These could be used for confirming the health of the PAC-5 Module.
