Product Overview
The Firefly Charger Board with System Communication Firm Ware (FW) is a component in the mobile digital RAD X-ray system. It is used in the system for some main system functions like battery management, power distribution, CAN communication, system bus interface, mantis communication, power supplies, diagnostics and collimator lamp supply control. It provides all charge/discharge tracking for the system in the battery management. In CAN communications, the function of the firefly charger board is that it receives the commands and send/receive subsystem status reports over the CAN physical layer. The core logic component of a firefly board is the Cyclone III FPGA, which is responsible for managing the battery charging and all relevant battery data like voltage, current and temperature. It has to undergo and pass various testing before shipment. The different testing is boundary scan batch test execution, boundary scan single test execution, interconnection testing and cluster testing. It is protected from ESD hazards. All shipping containers comply with the necessary material and packing requirements.
