Product Overview
This eXtreme Gradient Driver (XGD) Power Supply 2 is an IGBT-based power supply that is part of the XFD sub system of an DVMR system. It provides two 350V and two 650V isolated supplies to the eXtreme Gradient Amplifier (XGA). The input of the XPS consists of a 3-phase rectifier that converts 420VAC at 50/60Hz to 600VDC. Three IGBT modules then switch at ~20kHz based on a phase shift control to apply voltage to 2 separate transformers produce the appropriate output voltages. RCD snubber circuits are placed at the output of the rectifiers to limit the peak voltage on the output DC bus. The coupled inductors at the output of each DC bus ensure the impedance is similar and therefore the output voltage is identical. This RoHS compliant power supply can be used with GE's Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) systems. The part is securely packed inside a plywood container to avoid physical damage during shipping. 5351443-102-R
