Product Overview
- The MR SCIM-Black with English Overlay RoHS is used in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). Scan control key inputs are read by a Function-key processor (FKP) and translated into a serial protocol, which appears at the interface connector. The intercom electronics provide a microphone, speaker, and volume controls for the patient speaker, operator speaker, and the auto-voice feature. The SCIM provides the user interface for remote scan control and voice intercommunication operations on MR products. Scan control supports the following scan control functions like start scan, pause scan, and stop scan, move table to scan and stop table move, and emergency stop. Voice communication allows the operator or prerecorded voice to speak to the patient from the control room and the patient to speak with the operator from the operator workspace. It is used in devices like MR Signa HDe 1.5T, MR Discovery MR750 3.0T, MR Discovery MR750w 3.0T, 450W, MR Brivo MR355 1.5T, MR360, MR Optima MR360 1.5T, Signa HDxT EchoSpeed 1.5T, Signa HDxT HD23 EchoSpeed 1.5T, Signa Vibrant 1.5T, BREAS, Signa Voyager 1.5T, HDX 1.5T, HDX 3.0T, Optima, 1.5 DV450W GEM, MR Discovery MR750w GEM 3.0T.

Return And Exchange
GE HealthCare will accept, for return from customer, items that are in new condition, unworn, unaltered and free of damage. Items cannot be returned or exchanged beyond 30 days from customer’s receipt of the original order and all returned items will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. To obtain a full refund or exchange of the item within the 30 day return period (subject to the 15% restocking fee) customer must request a return materials authorization (RMA) from GE HealthCare and return the item to GE HealthCare utilizing this RMA number. Items must be returned in the original packaging, unused and free of damage.
Please note, cuffs, BP items, sterile and hazmat items cannot be returned. If a replacement order is requested, the restocking fee may be waived at GE HealthCare’s sole discretion.
