Product Overview
The M4 x 4.1 ID x 0.9 Thick Split Ring Lock Washer is a washer, which is a thin plate with a hole that is normally used to distribute the load of a threaded fastener, such as a bolt or nut. In split washers, the ring split at one point and bent into a helical shape. This allows the washer to exert a spring force between the fasteners head and the substrate. As a screw is tightened, these washers flatten to add tension to the joint and prevent from small amount of vibration. It creates more friction and resistance to the rotation. This split washer is made up of stainless steel. Stainless steels are iron-based alloys, which contains a minimum of chromium of around 10.5%. The presence of chromium offers corrosion resistance to stainless steel and helps to resist scaling at elevated temperatures. Stainless steel also maintains excellent toughness.
Return And Exchange
GE HealthCare will accept, for return from customer, items that are in new condition, unworn, unaltered and free of damage. Items cannot be returned or exchanged beyond 30 days from customer’s receipt of the original order and all returned items will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. To obtain a full refund or exchange of the item within the 30 day return period (subject to the 15% restocking fee) customer must request a return materials authorization (RMA) from GE HealthCare and return the item to GE HealthCare utilizing this RMA number. Items must be returned in the original packaging, unused and free of damage.
Please note, cuffs, BP items, sterile and hazmat items cannot be returned. If a replacement order is requested, the restocking fee may be waived at GE HealthCare’s sole discretion.
