Aperçu du cours

This 2-day Ultrasound Customized Product Specific course provides proficient, product-specific training on a customer-designated ultrasound system selected from the UL system list provided below. It includes a system overview, preventive maintenance procedures, hardware identification, connectivity, and basic corrective repair techniques. For customers with Class C systems, an optional one-day Class C training add-on is also available. (via separate part # R2603ULS)

Training is nonrefundable and must be redeemed within 24 months of purchase date. Unused training at the end of 24 months is forfeited without refund.

Course Details:
• Class Size: Maximum of 8 students, with 4 students per system. *Recommended class size of 6
• Class Length: 2 days (Tuesday – Wednesday), with travel on Monday and Thursday

Training Options:
• Customers may request training for up to two systems within the same product family (e.g., Logiq E10 and Logiq Fortis). Due to software similarities within the same segment, this request can be accommodated.
• If training is requested for more than one type of system (e.g., Logiq E10 and Voluson Expert 22), 2 days of training (purchased separately) will be required for each system type. 4 Days Total
• For training on more than two system segments, customers will need to follow our guidelines for Ultrasound Proficient Training.

Agenda for this course includes:
• Perform all work according to safety regulations and standards on a standard ultrasound system.
• Perform basic system setup, scanning, image/data manipulation, and storage with a standard ultrasound system.
• Troubleshoot common problems for standard ultrasound systems.
• Complete preventative maintenance according to the service schedule.
• Explain common clinical procedures performed using the ultrasound system.
• Explain how the ultrasound system interfaces with a hospital network and configure it to connect with network devices.
• Explain the privacy and security features of the ultrasound system and demonstrate the ability to set up/configure these features as required by the customer.
• Identify hardware components responsible for issues and make the correct modifications/repairs to resolve them.
• Identify the cause of communication issues and make the correct modifications to resolve them.

• Essentials of Digital Technology Lite v2 (Online)
• Ultrasound Proficient Service Training Fundamentals (Online)

Formation technique

Registration:
• All training must be taken within 24 months of purchase.

Attendance:
• Class start and end times vary. Please refer to email enrollment notification.
• Participants are required to arrive on time for class.
• A "no show" is not eligible for reimbursement.
• In order to receive certificate of completion for a course:
o Participants must attend the class in its entirety missing a day will disqualify you from receiving full credit
o Participants must pass the assessment administered at the end of the course

Cancellations:
Please carefully review our cancellation policy and how it applies to your cancellation. Should you wish to cancel your registration, we enforce a time sensitive policy. As you can appreciate, a cancelation with less than four weeks’ notice makes it very difficult for another student to plan on attending. If there is someone else in your organization that would like to attend in your place – this fee will not be charged. The cancelation policy is outlined below:
• Cancellations can be made by email to Ed.services@gehealthcare.com
• GE HealthCare may offer technical service training at GE HealthCare’s Institute, on-site at Customer’s facility, via virtual instructor-led trainings, or via online self-paced courses.
• Customer is responsible for registering for trainings conducted at GE HealthCare’s Institute and for virtual instructor-led trainings hosted through GE HealthCare’s Institute. Scheduled trainings at or hosted through GE HealthCare’s Institute that are cancelled or rescheduled by Customer:
(i) more than 4 weeks prior to the training start date, will result in no cancellation fee
(ii) up to 2 weeks prior to the training start date, will result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the training price
(iii) less than 2 weeks prior to the training start date and for no-shows (i.e., registered students who do not attend the training and do not cancel in advance of the training start date), will result in a cancellation fee of 100% of the training price.
• On-site trainings at Customer’s facility and virtual instructor-led trainings developed specifically for Customer will be scheduled by Customer and GE HealthCare on mutually agreed upon dates. Scheduled on-site trainings at Customer’s facility and virtual instructor-led trainings developed specifically for Customer that are cancelled or rescheduled by Customer will result in a cancellation fee of 100% of the training price, and Customer agrees to reimburse GE HealthCare for GE HealthCare’s incurred travel charges and expenses.
• Online self-paced courses cannot be cancelled or changed once access to the course has been granted to Customer.
• Trainings are subject to availability. GE HealthCare may cancel or reschedule trainings at any time. Certain licenses and/or applications may be required to attend technical service trainings and/or use technical service packages. Please contact GE Healthcare for more information.

Low Enrollment:
• GE reserves the right to cancel classes due to low enrollment.
• Classes with low enrollment 15 business days prior to the scheduled date will be cancelled.
• When GE cancels a class, tuition will be refunded in full, or may be applied to the cost of another class scheduled to take place within 12 months of the original class.
