The Universal Alphanumeric Keyboard is being used in Vivid E90 which is a premium 2D cardiovascular ultrasound system. It is an input device that is used to give data in the form of text and numbers into a computer or any other electronic machinery. The keyboard and the monitor are connected through means of USB cables. It is the most common method for the user to communicate with the computer. It has alphanumeric keys which are most common. The keys include punctuation, alphanumeric and special keys like the Windows key and various multimedia keys, which have specific functions assigned to them. This keyboard contains 89 keys each with different input functions. While pressing the keys, it sends the signals to the monitor in the form of HID codes. The HID codes are the codes in keypad that interacts with the monitors through USB cables. This alphanumeric keyboard is being used in various medical devices such as UL Vivid E9, UL Vivid q, UL Vivid 7, UL IT ECHOPAC, UL Vivid E9 EXPERT and UL Vivid S5.
Return And Exchange
GE HealthCare will accept, for return from customer, items that are in new condition, unworn, unaltered and free of damage. Items cannot be returned or exchanged beyond 30 days from customer’s receipt of the original order and all returned items will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. To obtain a full refund or exchange of the item within the 30 day return period (subject to the 15% restocking fee) customer must request a return materials authorization (RMA) from GE HealthCare and return the item to GE HealthCare utilizing this RMA number. Items must be returned in the original packaging, unused and free of damage.
Please note, cuffs, BP items, sterile and hazmat items cannot be returned. If a replacement order is requested, the restocking fee may be waived at GE HealthCare’s sole discretion.
