Présentation du produit
The On/Standby switch is an electro-pneumatic assembly that acts as the main pneumatic and electrical on/off switch for an anesthesia machine. The switch assembly has as its major components a rotary actuator, a manifold body and a printed circuit board assembly (PCA). When the On/Standby switch is placed in the on position, it provides an electrical contact closure signal to the electronics of the machine and enables the flow of metabolic oxygen and optionally air to the pneumatic circuitry. A normally closed, snap-action, micro-switch realizes the electrical contact closure interface of the On/Standby switch assembly and is part of the PCA (along with the interface connector) that is mounted to the pneumatic manifold. A mechanical actuator, integral to the pneumatic manifold, contacts the micro switch plunger upon state change of the front panel knob from ‘On’ to ‘Standby’ causing the normally closed switch contacts to open; instructing the machine to turn off its power management subsystem. Likewise, when the front panel knob is moved from ‘Standby’ to ‘On,’ the mechanical actuator relieves its force on the micro-switch plunger and the switch is allowed to snap close its contacts, instructing the machine to turn on its power management subsystem.
