Product Overview
This BS 1363 rating is a British Standard which specifies the common single-phase alternating current (AC) power plugs and sockets that are used in the United Kingdom. The Plug Outlet is a power plug that is used in one of the AC inlet components. A three Pin plug has two horizontal, rectangular pins for line and neutral, and there is a large vertical pin above these pins for a ground connection. Both line and neutral carry current and are live parts. The ground pin is longer than the two parallel pins so that the device is grounded before a supply is connected. It is a Type G electrical plug which has a British three-pin rectangular blade plug with a protective fuse inside to protect cords from high-current circuits. This white plug is compatible with AC outlet modules and AC inlet modules for Anesthesia Delivery systems.
