Product Overview
The Ground Strap comes as a part of the radiographic system used for imaging method diagnosis using X-rays. A stream of electrons produced by X-ray tube is accelerated to high velocities by an external high-voltage supply and collide with the target anode in the tube. The beam formed is focused on patient and X-rays emerging from the patient carry the image information which can be stored on film. A ground strap is a device used to protect the device from fluctuations in electrical supply. It consists of a threaded fitting, an aircraft cable and a ball at the end. The cable provided is of aircraft type and is extremely flexible. The 7 x 19 strand configuration gives the cable high strength. It is galvanized such that an anode layer is formed on the surface of the cable and prevents the corrosion from damaging the cable.
Return And Exchange
GE HealthCare will accept, for return from customer, items that are in new condition, unworn, unaltered and free of damage. Items cannot be returned or exchanged beyond 30 days from customer’s receipt of the original order and all returned items will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. To obtain a full refund or exchange of the item within the 30 day return period (subject to the 15% restocking fee) customer must request a return materials authorization (RMA) from GE HealthCare and return the item to GE HealthCare utilizing this RMA number. Items must be returned in the original packaging, unused and free of damage.
Please note, cuffs, BP items, sterile and hazmat items cannot be returned. If a replacement order is requested, the restocking fee may be waived at GE HealthCare’s sole discretion.
