Product Overview
The Insulating Cylinder Humidifier GHGI is a servo-humidifier that maintains a selected humidity percentage relative to readings from a humidity sensor in the infant compartment. The humidifier consists of two heater units to maintain the required humidity level in the infant compartment. At the entry point, water enters to the humidifier unit through reservoir which is a small hole at the bottom. The insulation cylinder is used to manage heat losses during humidifier operation. This cylinder has been made of Polyether Ether Ketone (PEEK) which is a high performance organic thermoplastic polymer. PEEK is widely used in medical devices due to excellent mechanical strength and thermal characteristics. The continuous service temperature of it is 260° C, and melting point is 341° C. The cylinder has a surface finish of SPI D-2, which refers to very rough surface dry bash polish (#240 aluminum oxide blast). Besides Giraffe™ Incubator, the humidifier is also used in Giraffe™ Carestation Incubator, Modular, MIC Giraffe™ OmniBed and MIC - Other Infant Care.

Return And Exchange
GE HealthCare will accept, for return from customer, items that are in new condition, unworn, unaltered and free of damage. Items cannot be returned or exchanged beyond 30 days from customer’s receipt of the original order and all returned items will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. To obtain a full refund or exchange of the item within the 30 day return period (subject to the 15% restocking fee) customer must request a return materials authorization (RMA) from GE HealthCare and return the item to GE HealthCare utilizing this RMA number. Items must be returned in the original packaging, unused and free of damage.
Please note, cuffs, BP items, sterile and hazmat items cannot be returned. If a replacement order is requested, the restocking fee may be waived at GE HealthCare’s sole discretion.
