Product Overview
Cap nuts are different from normal nuts. In cap nuts one side is a threaded side and other side consists of a closed metal finish. A cap nut serves to protect the bolt threads underneath, but also provides a cleaner appearance, and may improve safety. The cap nut is made of a stainless steel material. Stainless steels are iron-based alloys, which contains minimum of amount chromium of around 10.5%. The presence of chromium offers corrosion resistance to the stainless steel and helps to resist scaling at elevated temperatures. Stainless steel also provides excellent toughness. It comes as a part of Giraffe™ Shuttle, which is a portable power source that provides electrical power to the bed and other auxiliary equipment, as well as provisions for medical gas management. It is efficient and provides good performance in carrying environmental conditions.
