Product Overview
The Foil Heater - Door Right (East) is used in the east side door of the machine. Radiant energy can affect fluids by decreasing its flow. In order to increase the flow, viscosity should be increased, which can be done by increasing the temperature. Blood components for patients occupying a warmer should have a good flow, it is shielded with aluminum foil, which acts as heater and insulator. This aluminum foil is coated with Vinyl, which offers excellent adhesion to a variety of surfaces including High Surface Energy (HSE) and Low Surface Energy (LSE) plastics. Before dispatching the product, testing has to be done to ensure that it has smooth finishing without any burrs, sharp edges, surface blemishes, sink marks and flash marks. It is then wrapped and labeled with the required details. The door is widely used in machines such as Giraffe™ OmniBed, Bili Blanket, Panda™ iRES Warmer, Aespire 7900 and Giraffe™ OmniBed Modular, among others.
Return And Exchange
GE HealthCare will accept, for return from customer, items that are in new condition, unworn, unaltered and free of damage. Items cannot be returned or exchanged beyond 30 days from customer’s receipt of the original order and all returned items will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. To obtain a full refund or exchange of the item within the 30 day return period (subject to the 15% restocking fee) customer must request a return materials authorization (RMA) from GE HealthCare and return the item to GE HealthCare utilizing this RMA number. Items must be returned in the original packaging, unused and free of damage.
Please note, cuffs, BP items, sterile and hazmat items cannot be returned. If a replacement order is requested, the restocking fee may be waived at GE HealthCare’s sole discretion.
