Product Overview
Tilt Cylinder Pivot Pin is used in Giraffe™/Panda™ bed assemblies. The bed assembly is mounted to the base assembly via a pivot and actuator. This assembly point allows the bed to pivot relative to the base. The pivot is normally locked, but a release handle allows the operator to unlock the pivot and adjust the angle of the bed. Once the desired angle is achieved, the handle is released, and the pivot locks again. A pivot pin is commonly used to connect either hole and tapered ends or a conical portion and a cylindrical portion. In this assembly, a pivot pin is used to assemble the damper with the help of threaded rod and it is installed onto the bed. The pivot pin is made up of a stainless steel material which is an iron-based alloy that contains 10.5 percent chromium. The presence of chromium offers corrosion resistance for the stainless steel and helps it to resist scaling at elevated temperature and also maintains good toughness. The passivate finish over the surface adds even more corrosion resistance to the material.

GE HealthCare will accept, for return from customer, items that are in new condition, unworn, unaltered and free of damage. Items cannot be returned or exchanged beyond 30 days from customer’s receipt of the original order and all returned items will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. To obtain a full refund or exchange of the item within the 30 day return period (subject to the 15% restocking fee) customer must request a return materials authorization (RMA) from GE HealthCare and return the item to GE HealthCare utilizing this RMA number. Items must be returned in the original packaging, unused and free of damage.
Please note, cuffs, BP items, sterile and hazmat items cannot be returned. If a replacement order is requested, the restocking fee may be waived at GE HealthCare’s sole discretion.
