Product Overview
This Vaccum Adapter with Hexagonal 1/8 NPTM and Male DISS Fitting is used in the vaccum line of Infant Resuscitation systems (IRS). These adapters consist of two fitting halves one with 1/8 inch male National Pipe Threads (NPT) and other with 3/4 inch male Unified National Fine (UNF) Threads. The nickel plated brass adapter is corrosion resistance, and provides good surface toughness at high and low temperatures. The adapter is designed as per DISS (Diameter Index Safety System) which establishes a standard for non-interchangeable, removable connections for use with Medical Gases (200 psi max.), Vacuum (Suction), and WAGD (Evacuation) Service. Non-interchangeable indexing is achieved by a series of increasing and decreasing diameters in the components of the connections. The threads are compatible with NPT and UNF fittings. This fitting can be used with GE's Infant Resuscitation Systems.
