Product Overview
The Porthole Latch Spring is made up of high tensile strength stainless steel. Stainless steels are iron-based alloys, which contain a minimum amount of chromium of around 10.5 percent. The presence of chromium offers corrosion resistance to stainless steel and helps to resist scaling at elevated temperatures. Stainless steel also maintains excellent toughness. This spring is located in the Giraffe™ Incubator Carestation side bed panel porthole door. The spring is located inside of the loaded button. Remove the side bed panel porthole door by pushing on spring loaded buttons located at the bottom corners of each side bed panel. The door springs are fixed along with screws that secure the inside of the hinge cover. To lift bed platform vertically, depress the spring loaded pins. The spring comes as a part of Giraffe™ Carestation Incubator, MIC Giraffe™ OmniBed, ARC Aisys, ARC S/5 Monitor Anesthesia, MS Solar 8000 and MIC - Other Infant Care.

Return And Exchange
GE HealthCare will accept, for return from customer, items that are in new condition, unworn, unaltered and free of damage. Items cannot be returned or exchanged beyond 30 days from customer’s receipt of the original order and all returned items will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. To obtain a full refund or exchange of the item within the 30 day return period (subject to the 15% restocking fee) customer must request a return materials authorization (RMA) from GE HealthCare and return the item to GE HealthCare utilizing this RMA number. Items must be returned in the original packaging, unused and free of damage.
Please note, cuffs, BP items, sterile and hazmat items cannot be returned. If a replacement order is requested, the restocking fee may be waived at GE HealthCare’s sole discretion.
